Favorite Looks from Margaret Howell
EVERYTHING about this show. The androgynous models, the tweed, the plaid, the COLLARS (deeply triangular and rounded), the cream work-pants, the black berets. The high quality of the clothes and color palette of navy, grey, black, and cream exuded a timelessness whereas the shapes and fabric afforded the clothes a modernity. I love how Howell had the models wear the same shoe (something almost like a low-ankle Doc Marten) with white or black socks because it added to the androgyny of the outfits and the universality of the looks.
