Vintage clothing has no expiration date, and this month I have been adding to my slowly evolving collection. On the first Sunday in January I went to the San Diego Vintage Market where I met Jena, founder and content creator for Folk & Cup vintage. (If you are in San Diego you should definitely take advantage of this vintage flea market; it features one hundred clothing, furniture, and jewelry vendors in downtown North Park). Jena's collection is full of chiffon dresses and beaded bags, all of which are affordably priced and in great condition. For this look I went makeup-free and wore white socks, trying to recreate an Alice in Wonderland type of outfit. I also bought, for the second time, from Minimalisms Closet on Instagram a mustard silk blouse with pleats down the front and small shoulder pads. Both of these looks feature subtly padded shoulders, pleats, and silk-esque fabrics, which are some of my favorite aspects of "dated" clothing.
